GROWING NEED TO ASSESS LOGISTICS NETWORK
STRUCTURE & DESIGN

This was the conclusion of the network event outbound logistics by Augustus Connect in Vught (NL). Members are typically higher management. Shipment profiles are becoming more dynamic. Yet the network structure of a company is often evaluated only once in a few years. She is positive that the number of hungry people will go down further in the coming years and spoke about responsibilities of different stakeholders to reach Zero Hunger.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Hein Fleuren spoke about his work for WFP in Logistics Optimization. Fleuren first explained that logistics in Africa is quite different from logistics in Europe.
